Amazonas

1973 Amazonas is one of the rarest effort in brazilian percussionist discography. Recorded at Rio De Janeiro Phonogram Studios, is mostly a solo affair with the renowned musician playing berimbau, percussion and singing. Nana would later join Jon Hassell on his debut, Don Cherry in Codona and Pat Metheny in As Falls Wichita, So Falls Wichita Falls. His music will stand the test of time, focusing on multi-directional polyrhythms.
