SYNAPSCAPE is a German rhythm 'n' noise music project by PHILIPP MUNSCH and TIM KNIEP. For more than 25 years they have not only had a continuous release output, but are also regularly on the club and festival stages of the world. As a respected genre giant, they are constantly pushing their sonic explorations and integrating stylistic devices from other genres in a very personal and completely natural way. "A Journey Through Concern" is the next chapter of PHILIPP MUNSCH and TIM KNIEP's charismatic industrial techno. The result is an album of rhythmic electronic noise art par excellence: Complex, technoid, pulsating beats in a mixture of IDM Electronica, a pinch of acid and a good dash of rhythm noise, plus the distinctive vocals of TIM KNIEP. A heavy mass of multi-layered melodies, extreme scraps of sound and energetic dance beats combine in a complex hi-end production into a soundtrack that can be served cold at home or hot in the club.
