Missstand
Smells Like Abgrund (red)
What kind of music do we need today? Music that tells the truth, gives hope, and refuses to give up. That's exactly what MISSSTAND deliver. "Smells Like Abgrund" is the band's new album, written over two years and featuring twelve songs that capture who MISSSTAND are today. Recorded with longtime producer Tom Zwanzger at Stress Studio in Graz, it is their heaviest, most direct and most dynamic record yet. Since forming in 2008, MISSSTAND have turned anger about the world into powerful punk rock. The new songs deal with personal struggles, social change and a clear rejection of racism and the far right. A special highlight is the guest appearance by Guido Donot on "Lichter? Aus!". Built on the band's DIY spirit, "Smells Like Abgrund" is honest, intense and impossible to ignore. But it also leaves room for hope, reminding us that even in difficult times, we move forward together.
