Ton:fehler
Der Charme Des Stumpfen
Ton:Fehler blend German-language EBM with techno-infused beats, two distinctive voices, and a healthy dose of irony. The band observes, questions, and exaggeratessometimes with a biting edge, sometimes with humor, and occasionally with a touch of bluntness. After all, social commentary can be danceable, too. Their driving force has remained constant yet evolved: creating direct, danceable music with lyrics that aim to be more than mere accompaniment to the beat. Societal trends, entrenched mindsets, everyday contradictions, and human quirks provide more than enough material. Irony and the occasional humorous theme add to the lyrical diversity. Musically, driving electronic beats meet edgy synthesizers, clear structures, and an interplay between female and male vocals. EBM forms the foundation without becoming a rigid constraint; Ton:Fehler takes the liberty of blending various influences. Not every song aims to provide an answerbut perhaps to pose a question or two. And if you can dance along while doing so, all the better.
