All The Angels Descend
The German band Thy Bleeding Skies makes an impressive return in 2026 with their fourth album, *All The Angels Descend*. Founded by Claudio A. Enzler (known for work with My Darkest Hate and Sacrificium, among others), the band's previous full-length release, *Seconds of Immortality* (2014), dates back quite some time; meanwhile, this concept albumoriginally slated for 2016 but only now releasedhad been shelved for years. This ambitious work examines World War I from the perspective of those who lived through it, focusing on the human side of the conflict: fear, loss, hope, friendship, isolation, and the struggle to preserve one's humanity amidst unimaginable destruction. Musically, Thy Bleeding Skies blend classic doom-death metal with melodic passages, clean vocal arrangements, and crushing death metal riffs.
