A Cimbalomprimas

Collections of cimbalom folk music are both many and few. There is a lot, as there are recordings from all corners of the Hungarian inhabited area, but these recordings are still contingent and short, fragmentary. The collectors usually only flash the solo cimbalom as a curiosity for a few tunes. The first band presenting the original Hungarian folk cimbalom music is born, and the first album is here! Tarkany Trio made this album with the intention of creating the first orchestra to present original Hungarian folk cimbalom music, continuing the tradition of cimbalom prismatic music. Strange as it may sound, there has never been anything like it, and to this day it is the only band that does it.
