This live recording lays out Shivers gospel, straight ahead style, and a swinging good time from a great band. She pleases the fans with many of her most popular song presentations. Not long after opening up the dream of a new restaurant and jazz club in the historic town of North Bend, WA, Boxleys was primed for a test recording. Karen Shivers had been lighting the Saturday crowd on fire all month. It was a swingin good time - and a lot of it made it onto this recording, crowd and all. The test captured so much of the excitement, that we had to put it out.
