Like the first, it highlights not only performances but also Nougaro's ability to write beautiful songs that went into other singers' repertoires. His feeling for words was incredible, and his melodies remain unique. This set puts special emphasis on his fruitful partnership with Michel Legrand, particularly when they produced one of the most emblematic songs by the singer from Toulouse, Le jazz et la java.
