Now based in southern California, the Gentle Cycle are back with an excellent new single! All aspects of their signature sound, melding a bedrock of 60's style psychedelia with dollops of power pop and pop-psych, fueled by a modern sonic approach, are in full effect here. On the top side, penned by Derek See, the group deliver a killer, no filler, power pop gem. On the flipside, the group reverberate with their own lysergic version of an obscure 13th Floor Elevators nugget penned by Stacy Sutherland.
