First-ever European vinyl release of the third studio album by Australian band Franzal Rhomb on colored vinyl via SBÄM Records! While only known in underground circles in Europe, Franzal Rhomb are rock stars in their native Australia and considered a punk rock institution down under. SBÄM Records now brings their 1997 album Meet The Family, originally released on the Australian label Shagpile only as a CD, to Europe for the first time as a colored vinyl edition. Rock, punk, and Australia have always gone hand in hand. As a former British Commonwealth penal colony, Australia has long been fertile ground for people with little patience for authority perfectly reflected by this skatepunk band formed in 1991. Hailing from Newtown, a suburb of Sydney, the quartet has opened for major punk acts such as Bad Religion, The Offspring, and Blink-182. In Australia, they are themselves among the most recognized punk rock acts and released many of their records through the legendary Fat Wreck Chords label.
