Pessimismes

Born out of a cross-continental collision between Austria and Qubec, this trio delivers their debut full-length "Pessimismes" and its every bit as crushing, bleak and honest as the title suggests. This isnt black metal with flowery post- prefixes or ambient escapism, its sharp, emotionally raw, and utterly unrelenting. The riffs cut deep, the drums never let up, and the vocals come from somewhere that sounds like it hasn't seen light in years. Lyrically torn between French and German, "Pessimismes" isnt trying to be pretty. Its six tracks of sheer catharsis, coiled tight with anxiety and let loose with purpose.
