Cryptopsy's 1994 debut, Blasphemy Made Flesh, is a raw yet lethal foundation for what would later become None So Vile. Even in its early form, the band defines technical death metal, with Flo Mounier's drumming already a relentless force. The guitar work stands out, weaving unexpected melody into the chaos, while the bass, though prominent, doesn't quite match the weight of its successor. And as always, Lord Worm's vocals are a monstrous presence, cementing the album's brutal and unhinged energy.
