"Debut full-length album by Sydney garage-rock supergroup! THE CRISPS formed in 2004 when drummer-vocalist Stuart Wilson (New Christs, Lime Spiders, Chris Masuak's Dog Soldier) asked Dave Thomas (Doomfoxx, Bella Wreck) and Graham Hood (The Johnnys) to jam on some songs he had written. Chris Nacard (Orange County) was recruited to add some extra guitar, and a Sydney inner-city supergroup was born! They recorded six songs which they used as a demo to get gigs and possibly secure a record deal. After playing many gigs, the members all went their separate ways, and the demo tracks were shelved. Eighteen years later, THE CRISPS reformed for a series of Australian shows, and the original demo tracks were released as a limited-edition mini-album on Aussie label Vi-Nil Records. Derrick Ogrodny from Heavy Medication Records heard the songs and offered to release them on his label. In the meantime, Stu had already written a bunch of new tunes, so they decided to expand the record into a full-length album, titled ""Four on the Floor"". One side contains the original demo recordings with 6 new songs gracing the flipside. If you love high-energy rock'n'roll from Australia, The Crisps are gonna scratch that itch.
