20th Anniversary Demo 7" Box Set
Algernon Cadwallader is an American Midwest emo band from Pennsylvania. Formed in 2005, the band released several recordings during their initial seven year run, including the beloved 2006 EP Demo and their 2008 seminal debut album, Some Kind of Cadwallader, which is now widely celebrated for sparking the Midwest emo revival of the late-2000s. Although the group eventually disbanded in 2012, the band's influence and fanbase only grew, and in 2018, they re-issued their albums to digital streaming services for the first time, reentering the public eye with renewed momentum. They rode this wave into a reunion tour and the release of their third album, Trying Not to Have a Thought, in 2025 with all four founding members - Helmis, Reinhart, Mahony and Tazza. Now, to celebrate 20 years of Algernon Cadwallader, their long out of print Demo 7" is back in box set form, limited to 1,000 copies. The box is DIY hand stamped and screen printed with the Demo 7", bonus 7" of attic items, flexi disc, keychain, sticker, pin and a mini zine handmade by Peter Helmis.
