Requiem For The Oppressor
Italian Thrash Metallers XENOS A.D. have a great recognition in the European Metal scene thanks to their impressive live attitude performing at some of the greatest festivals in Europe (Wacken Open Air, Agglutination, Into The Grave, Area 53 etc.). This violent and technical attitude is what you can find in their new album "Reqviem For The Oppressor". The concept of the album is inextricably linked to war and its horrors and it is expressed through the 9 tracks of the album with a musical representation of the destructive violence of the war in its most delirious expressions and manifestations. Their distinctive blend of lyricism about these arguments, combined with their relentless, neck-breaking Thrash Metal assault, pays homage to the genre's golden age Gods such as Slayer, Megadeth, Kreator, Exodus and Testament as well as some of the melodies and progressive tendencies of Metal Church and Death Angel. It features artwork created by Ivan Stan and was mastered by Simone Mularoni at Domination Studios so to complete a masterpiece of violence and aggression.
