Xam
Villa Rose
*Villa Rose* is Xam's second EP, set for release on September 18, 2026. He arranged and produced the record alongside Cl,ment Doumic of the band Feu! Chatterton. It all begins with a song reminiscent of the teenage anthems heard during the rock revival era of the 2000s. A young man heads to high school, stopping along the way to pick up his best friend_who lives at "Villa Rose"_though he harbors a secret love for her. With his head in the clouds, he is unsure how to go about confessing his feelings; she is the source of all his romantic angst. The rest of the EP chronicles the young man's romantic ups and downs through various encounters over the following years. *Villa Rose* was recorded at Red House Studio with the team of musicians (guitar, bass, drums, cello, organ) that accompanies Xam on stage. Belgian singer Antoine Delie joins Xam for a duet on the track "Split Screen." This EP was made possible thanks to the R,gnier Creation Fund and its "Summer Chance" initiative. The *Villa Rose* launch party will take place at La Boule Noire in Paris on September 23, 2026.
