Texan quintet WHITE ARMS OF ATHENA present their new, self titled album. A bold and adventurous exploration of technical and progressive metal at its most creative. WHITE ARMS OF ATHENA was recorded at GodCity Studio in Salem, Mass. with acclaimed producer and Converge guitarist Kurt Ballou (Every Time I Die, High On Fire, Kvelertak). Mixed by Ballou, engineered and co-produced by Travis Kammeyer (Storm of Light, Generation of Vipers) and mastered by Alan Douches (Baroness, The Dillinger Escape Plan) Lauded by Decibel for having "polished chops of lifelong shredders and a compostional sensibility that many older progressive musicians would gladly sell their ponytails to attain," WHITE ARMS OF ATHENA's forthcoming album proceeds in a new direction from their acclaimed 2011 full-length debut "Astrodrama," featuring a m?nge of experimental progressive passages with a psychedelic-infused ambience.
