We Contain Multitudes is a new band featuring Jon Fine (Ex- Bitch Magnet, Vineland, Don Caballero), Orestes Morfin (Ex-Bitch Magnet, Bored Spies, God Rifle, Walt Mink) and Simon Kobayashi (Smallgang, Hurtling, Splintered Man). This is thier debut LP, recorded by Abe Seiferth and mastered by Bob Weston. We Contain Multitudes is heavy and intricate. At times, it goes far deeper into psychedelic, repetitive, and minimal/maximalist realms than anything these guys' prior bands. We Contain Multitudes is: Jon Fine - guitar, keyboards when necessary, Simon Kobayashi: bass, Orestes Morfín: drums. Minako, pronounced mih-NAH-ko, is a name that means 'beautiful child' in Japanese. The album is at least partly named for the city-pop vocalist Minako Yoshida. Simon, whose father is Japanese, came up with it. This release will appeal to fans of Bitch Magnet, Don Caballero, The Fucking Champs, Pelican, This Will Destroy You, King Crimson, and Yes. 180 gram vinyl (black) 2xLP D side is blank. Only music on A, B, and C sides.
