Formed in Marseille in 2010, Wake The Dead is a modern hardcore band. From the very beginning, the band has emphasized its drive to grow through live performance, adopting the motto : « Driving hours, playing half an hour » WTD has played over 370 shows in 30 countries across Europe, Asia, and even Cuba. They have shared the stage with international icons from the metal, punk, and hardcore scenes such as Counterparts, Landmvrks, Sick Of It All, Nasty, Get The Shot, Propagandhi, No Use For A Name, More Than Life, No Turning Back, Death By Stereo, among many others. Over the years, their sound has evolved, shaped by relentless touring, lineup changes, and influences gathered from both local and international scenes. Wake The Dead has refined a universe that is both raw and emotionally intense, resonating with a wide and loyal audience. Their lyrics tackle both personal and social themes, carried by raw energy and polished production.
