Vicky Veryno is an artist navigating between pop, electro, and jazz. After her solo debut in 2019, she gained recognition from I'm From Rennes in 2021. She expanded her musical universe with rock and jazz influences, leading to performances at the Trans Musicales festival and on KEXP in 2022. Her new project explores diverse stage formats, ranging from pop/rock concerts as a quartet to solo electro performances, enriched by influences such as Foxwarren and Boards of Canada. This album, Hitchhike, explores intimate and universal questions about finding one's place in a conformist world. The poetic lyrics address social anxiety and identity, while the music blends acoustic and electric sounds, creating a contrast between melancholy and warmth.
