Complete early discography from this short lived, stellar Fullerton, CA punk rock outfit. This top rate collection features the group's debut 1979 single, the certified KBD classic "Death to Disco," their 1981 12" EP and some odds and ends from that era. Far from a paint by numbers snotty punk rock outfit, The Vectors had a musicality and tension colored with shades of post punk, while retaining the proto-HC energy expected of a SoCal outfit from their era. In a sense they bridged the gap from the Anglo Skids/Ruts sound to the Americanized iteration in groups like Big Boys, Effigies, Minutemen, etc. This collection features a ton of photos and artwork exclusive to this release; a fitting presentation for this collection of top rate punk tunes.
