Newcastles TYSONDOG quickly garnered themselves as something of a Judas Priest light with the release of their debut album Beware Of The Dog, available here on CD for the first time in a digitally remastered form. Whilst the Priest comparisons are not entirely inappropriate, TYSONDOG had enough of their own character that shone though in hefty, metallic chunks. Though highly regarded following this and its excellent follow up album Crimes Of Insanity, the band where unable to make significant headway internationally. Listening to this album, you may find yourself asking why that was the case... British metal to the hilt.
