Houmaissa

Houmaïssa being the name of a Tuareg symbol worn exclusively by women, with this new album TisDass wishes to pay tribute to women, the pillar of the family in Tuareg society. The tempo may have quickened, but the presence of acoustic tracks remains a hallmark of Sahelian music (Tara "l'amour", Itag Aguen "beaucoup de choses se passent"). The other tracks take the 180-degree rock turn intended by the band. The themes of the songs remain faithful to the claims and aspirations of the Tuaregs to live in peace: Taflist (trust), Derhan (hope), Ikewagne (root).
