New World View
Every few years there is a spark in Tehachapi, CA, where there are new rumblings of hardcore. The landscape is always changing with the highest of highs and the lowest of lows. Hardcore doesn't always seem to be a constant there, but when it comes, it always peaks. Initially started in the summer of 2014 and inspired by early-2000s Boston hardcore, songs were written but constant life changes and moves led to them being put on the back burner, eventually lost somewhere in an old, broken iPhone. Many years later, newly written songs from memories of that first batch of songs would eventually become the STEP BY STEP demo. They followed their demo up with their 2024 Promo, consisting of three songs used as a teaser for an upcoming full-length, which is now realized as New World View.
