The stage name is an ironical tribute to the fact that it took some 20 years to come up with an album of his own. In 2009 Slowman got a strong foothold in the European blues world and several tracks have become favorites of radio stations and networks. The sequel to the the highly praised debut The best of Slowman covers the same wide field of americana, blues, rock, soul and altcountry but adds a geniune analogue sound that sticks. The obvious title is Im back and the album is at least as strong as the previous.
