Ray & Porcell
Fame (blue)
Originally released in 1991, RAY & PORCELL's self-titled 7" EP features Ray Cappo (YOUTH OF TODAY, SHELTER) and John "Porcell" Porcelly (YOUTH OF TODAY, JUDGE) on two Krishnaconscious tracks: "Fame" and "Broken Glass." Recorded at Don Fury Studio in NYC, the two tracks were a departure from the fast-paced hardcore YOUTH OF TODAY fans were accustomed to, while both tracks would later go on to be adopted by SHELTER. The combination of a drum machine and the iconic black and white cover photo of RAY & PORCELL staring out a NYC window marks a unique, strippeddown piece of early-'90s straight-edge history. New pressing of 550 on opaque blue vinyl
