Nuclear Warfare
All Hail To The Liberator
Six years after their last release, "Lobotomy," the southern German thrashers NUCLEAR WARFARE are back with their seventh album, "All Hail To The Liberator." After more than 25 years as a band, the trio has become a fixture in the metal scene, and they remain true to their style on their latest LP: classic German 80s thrash metal mixed with Bay Area influences is the name of the game, though the band has long since put its own stamp on the sound. What you see is what you get with Nuclear Warfare and yet the band isn't stagnating. "All Hail To The Liberator" is a touch more old-school and heavier than its predecessors, but it also incorporates a greater number of melodies. Lyrically, the guys are even more biting and sarcastic. The nine tracks were recorded, mixed, and mastered at Dual Noise Studio in Sao Paulo by Rogerio Wecko, who gives the album precisely the kind of authentic sound that more than lives up to their reputation as leading lights of the genre.
