This Minneapolis quartet fell together accidentally when former members of Bellwether and Janitor Bob came together for a one-off show. In a mere five days they captured the 8 tracks featured on this moody, darkish, urban blues-influenced rock record. Jimmy Peterson's (Bellwether) drowsy rasp is reminiscent of roots artist Mathew Ryan, and the interplay with Gooby's (Janitor Bob) Chicago-style guitar soloing is very seductive. Great mix of of alt.bues, country, jazz and rock make for a surprisingly accesisible yet hip offering.
