Full of mighty fervour, unchained passion and powerful energy, these words break out of the opening passages of the eponymous title song from this charismatic band of minstrels EP W.I.R.. And its precisely this wild fire which has essentially characterised the band since they formed in 2011. A fire that KRAYENZEIT have made special and unique to such an extent that you can feel the pure joy in playing, emotion and passion in every single note they play. Rounded off by an immensely multifaceted sound construct characterised by its inspiring, multidimensional nature and dynamic power, this German act quickly succeeded in massively shaking up the genre. Because one thing is clear in the bands world of sound, so rich in contrast: there really are no limits here! The new songs reveal the total power and force that KRAYENZEIT generated among their audiences on the tour, bewitching with an extraordinary high-energy, powerful presence, boldly tearing forwards, yet at the same time radiating that authentic emotionality, intimacy and closeness that so mould the folk rockers delicate cascades of sound. So with W.I.R., Die Stille, Leviathan and Hautnah, the crows create an explosive eruption of sound, only to drape the familiar tracks in new and extremely exciting garments, which only serves to prove how much potential and how many facets songs such as Regen und Sturm (duet with LIV KRISTINE), Dornroschen (Piano version featuring MAJORVOICE), Saitentanzer (MONDENA QUARTET version) and Eiskalte Sterne (LAME IMMORTELLE remix) have within them.
