Like his formative influences NICK DRAKE, BONNIE PRINCE BILLY, LEONARD COHEN he manages and enhances a warm, introspective atmosphere of melancholy. this feelings become more real, when you know, that all thirteen traditional Icelandic folk songs on ,Amma" were recorded live and unplugged in the living room in front of a crowd of close friends. Even without understanding theicelandic lyrics, this album is dedicated to his grandmother, a highly emotional issue, one whose charm and intensity from the first guitar chord.
