Engine 54

Tribute

Engine 54 is the name of the first engine that drove from Kingston, Jamaica to Montego Bay. All the same driving and enhanced with a relaxed tempo is the music of the band. The different elements and faces of ska have always defined the sound of this Berlin based band. The ten musicians pay their tribute to well and less known pieces of Jamaican music history between 1960 and 1970.
