Edorfe
Edorfe Y Su Conjunto
DISCODELIC RETURNS WITH THE POWERFUL EL ECLYPSE SERIES, presenting some of the most incredible and obscure recordings and rarities from Mexico's psychedelic Latin-Funk underground of the 1970s. This time, we travel to Irapuato, Guanajuato, to discover one of the most fascinating, original, and creative figures of Mexico's underground music scene: EDORFE Y SU CONJUNTO. Nearly five years in the making, this project was completed in close collaboration with Edorfe himself, with his full authorization and support. We are proud to present four of our favorite tracks from his discography, originally released on extremely rare and highly sought-after LPs, pressed in very limited quantities during the 1970s on tiny regional labels. Edorfe's music is truly one of a kind cosmic, psychedelic, funky, raw, and completely unpredictable. If you're into spaced-out sounds, psychedelic Latin rhythms, heavy grooves, and seriously funky music, this record will absolutely blow your mind.
