The Stone marks a creative rebirth for veteran singer/songwriter/producer/multi-instrumentalist Andre Cymone, delivering riveting original songs that add an exciting chapter to the musical legacy Cymone built. Cymones punchy new tunes merge raw, muscular rock n roll with insistent hooks and sharp, insightful lyrics. His rich history encompasses three solo albums (Livin' in the New Wave, Survivin' in the 80s and AC) and a prolific career as hitmaking producer (Jody Watley, Tom Jones, Adam Ant), as well as a long-running collaboration with Prince, during which Cymone emerged as one of the architects of the revolutionary Minneapolis sound that permanently changed the face of popular music. Having sold millions of albums, Cymone returns from a 27 year hiatus with The Stone and is set to tour nationally in 2014. The vinyl component contains a digital download card.
