Corde Oblique return with "All'Ombra dei Fanciulli in Fiore", their 10th studio album. With a title that pays tribute to French writer Marcel Proust and celebrates parenthood, the record offers an eclectic journey suspended between Neofolk and Post-Rock. The 12 brand-new tracks were penned by Riccardo Prencipe (lyrics and music) and brought to life through striking dynamic contrasts, weaving together moments of extreme sweetnessshaped by classical conservatory guitar techniqueand far more aggressive, electric guitar-driven segments. The music was recorded between the historic walls of Splash Studio (Peppino di Capri) and the mythical Abbey Road Studios in London. Enriching this album are exceptional guest appearances, including singer-songwriter Andrea Chimenti (an icon of Italian new wave), and actress Maddalena Crippa (a pillar of national Italian theatre). Alongside them is the core group of musicians who have collaborated with Prencipe for over twenty years: Edo Notarloberti, Alessio Sica, Rita Saviano, and Umberto Lepore.
