Bleak Unison

One of the best kept secrets on the uk underground punk scene, chillerton started life as the jawbreaker-influenced side-project of the rock sound and kerrang championed jets vs sharks. Over the last few years chillerton have become a highly regarded band in their own right, and after a couple of split releases and a debut ep on the cooler than cool cat n cakey label, here we have their much anticipated debut album "bleak unison". The record rages with raw, melodic punk, inspired by the likes of leatherface, gunmoll and jawbreaker - in a scene rife with insipid and bland corporate "emo" rock, chillerton are one of the best bands out to prove that there's still a valid and healthy punk rock scene in the uk.
