M.I.S.L.A. (let's save love) is the title of Nino Buonocore's elegant new album of original material. The popular and refined Neapolitan singer-songwriter, who has never followed trends and has accustomed his audience to waiting for his own need to communicate, has devoted himself almost exclusively to live performances since the 2013 release of his latest album of original material, "Segnali di umana presenza," and has explored new directions increasingly influenced by jazz, culminating in the 2021 release of the acclaimed "In Jazz." This stylistic shift continues in the new "M.I.S.L.A. (let's save love)," a classy album born from several studio. This atmosphere permeates every song and reveals the team spirit of being "played together" by excellent musicians, in an era dominated by the use of technology. This work places humanity at the center of the universe, with its ability to profoundly impact its destiny through its own self-determination. Buonocore rejects the theory that humanity is forced to maintain a passive, wait-and-see attitude in the face of everyday events. He believes instead that it is absolutely necessary to react, and that the right path lies in recovering self-esteem and the strength of authentic feelings, the only true resource to avoid giving in to apathy or resignation.
