The music was famously described as cow punk, and, alongside the Pogues, Men They Couldnt Hang and a handful of others, they rejuvenated the live scene. Songs drew on traditional roots elements (banjo, fiddle, squeezebox) but injected the DIY/anti-authoritarian mindset of punk, leading to riotous live gigs and this, their sole album, which has been packaged with attendant singles and bonus tracks.
