Ben Kraiem, Nawel

Troubles

The Franco-Tunisian artist Nawel Ben Kra<em, known for her deep and moving voice, is back with a new album, "Troubles," recorded between Algeria and France. This album, insightful in its themes and captivating in its melodies, is the fruit of a period of reflection and transformation for the artist, who has since become a poet with two books published by Bruno Doucey and collaborations with renowned figures such as Rachid Taha, Chikha Rimitti, and AgnSs Jaoui. Celebrating not the destination of the journey but the experience of travel itself, this album, with its rock, folk, and poetic hues, seems to reconcile Nawel with herself and with the hybridity that makes her a unique artist_one to discover or rediscover!
