The duos phrasing breathes rubato, rhythms raise dust, and timbres glow like oil colours. The album avoids nostalgia: each melody feels close, communal, urgent, and modern. By reviving tunes once transmitted orally, Baselli and Casadei honour not only style but survival, carrying silenced voices into our time.
