Aug, Jef
Interim
Guitarist Jeff Aug will be releasing his solo album Interim on February 6, 2026. This will be his 10th acoustic instrumental album (8 solo, 2 as the duo Floating Stone together with Niko Lai who died in 2018). The albums tracks were all recorded in 2025. Some of the pieces have been played live, but never recorded and some will probably never be played live. Interim features Jeffs 15 year old son Oskar Tauber on the track New Days Dawn" and violin virtuoso Justin Ciuche (Rauhbein, In Extremo, Anne Clark) on Serenade." The albums title Interim" foreshadows the transition from Jeffs solo instrumental guitar program to the Jeff Aug / Murat Parlak Quintet debut album due to be recorded in February 2026. Coming off a major sold out European tour in July / Sept 2025 as the guitarist for the British icon Anne Clark and a 40 city tour of Europe supporting guitar legend Scott Henderson in Mar/Apr 2025, Jeff will kick off 2026 with the album release and follow it up with yet another major European tour supporting the incredible Chad Wackerman & The L.A. All-Stars delivering his solo acoustic instrumental fingerstyle guitar with ca. 30 performances across 12 countries. The year will follow with more Jeff Aug and Ape Shifter (Jeffs instrumental rock band) headlining concerts and festival performances.
