Amputee Set
Two Live Ones From 2003 (green)
Amputee Set was an American emo/screamo band from the late 90s/early 2000s known for their energetic live shows. They played around 150 shows and in about 30 states. They toured with many bands such as Braid, Ethel Meserve, Usurp Synapse, Saetia and many others and were influential in the Midwest emo scene. In 2003 the band decided to reunite for a one off reunion show, playing their entire catalog of songs. During rehearsal for the show they wrote a new song that remained untitled and has since been named ""Mission of Burnham"" to honor and remember their guitar player Morgan Burnham who passed away in 2013. The other song, ""We're All Born Dying"" was written while the band was still active, but they never properly recorded it. Since these two songs never appeared anywhere else in the Amputee Set discography, Expert Work records has decided to make them available on a limited edition 7". This is a live recording from 2003 from a house show at The legendary 1810 Ranch in Columbia, MO. Limited to 250 copies worldwide Pressed on Seaweed Green Vinyl FFO/RIYL: Hoover, Usurp Synapse, The Last Crime, The State Secedes, Book of Dead Names, Bright Calm Blue, etc.
