Elisa Montaldo and Samael Von Martin are the main characters of the arcane musical laboratory named ALBUS DIABOLUS. Great musician, composer and all-round artist, Elisa Montaldo is an essential part of the project thanks to her contribution in expanding the band's sound palette, adding an elegant melancholy and turning each track into an emotional journey through mysterious soundscapes. Samael Von Martin, from whose mind this artistic vision is born, is a well-known musician of the extreme Metal scene (Evol, Death Dies), as well as leader of Mater A Clivis Imperat. Samael brings to ALBUS DIABOLUS project all his great passion for experimentation and avant-garde sound. ALBUS DIABOLUS aims to be a musical laboratory in which the gothic dark aesthetics of extreme music and the progressive vein of Mater A Clivis Imperat merge: the result is a decisive electronic imprint influenced by 80s Synth-Wave and Dark-Wave style. Sound landscapes shaped by synths, drum machines and arcane atmospheres intertwine with powerful guitars played by special guest Simòn Fèrètro, materializing the compositions into an emotional and immersive journey which recalls influences of works such as Tenebre by Simonetti / Pignatelli / Morante and bands such as Einsturzende Neubauten, Coil, Current 93, Visitors. With its sound between past and future and its universe between light and shadow, Compendio Esoterico Elettronico will mark a turning point for the Italian music scene And now... let the Sabbath begin!!!
