The Velvet Candles... Today... And we should add... At Last!!! Eight years after our succesful first album The Story Of Our Love (El Toro Records ETCD 6049), we finally offer you a brand new long player, a dozen tracks showcasing the sound of the group today. These years have been amazing, we have been travelling a lot, doing shows all over Europe and making friends in almost every country you can think of. We even were part of a number one album! We shared the stage with some of our idols from the 50's like Norman Fox, Larry Chance, Gaynel Hodge or our great friend Tommy Hunt and so and so... During these years of shows we worked on a repertoire of songs that we felt we had to put on record sooner or later... and that moment is now... that's what you are holding in your hands, a collection of twelve songs that represent the sound of the group today. Twelve songs that are favorites of The Velvet Candles... And hopefully will be your favorites too!! We hope next years will be the same, we really do.
