All Sorts Of Things

KCM play instrumental postrock, but their sound is less sound of wall, less rock, more chilled out, like Explosions In The Sky, but has some pretty sweet buildups. They are not very mathy or rocking, like Tera Melos and By The End Of Tonight, but their song layouts are similar to that of Piglet. Also, some songs have a trumpet, and one or two have some buried/distant screaming. You might know them from their split 7"" with La Quiete, these songs are a bit like an instrumental version of Blacktop Cadence or the one song I have heard by a band called Audio Armada. Imagine how postrock would've sounded back in the mid 90ies, before it was necessary to overuse delays, reverb and loop pedals. Twinkly instrumental music with some loud parts, but however twinkly most of the times. This is their full discography, about 1 hour in total, including the long out of print Season//Repeat EP on Marsiglia, their self titled EP on Holidays Records, the song from the split 7"" with La Quiete and 3 brandnew unreleased songs. all remastered and pressed on black vinyl. 300 copies were pressed, they come in pantone-color-printed inside out sleeves and include a super thick risoprinted 32 pages booklet with words, pictures and plenty of memories from the band members.
