El Reloj
El Reloj
Formed in the town of Rosario, northeast of Buenos Aires, in 1971, Argentinian group El Reloj are considered South American pioneers of progressive rock and heavy metal, their forward-thinking experimentalism scoring a contract with RCA Victor. Following the massive success of singles Alguien en Quien Confiar and Blues del Atardecer, their legendary self titled LP found the group between Deep Purple and Uriah Heep, with a harder edge than subsequent symphonic releases. A must for all fans of early metal, South America rock and obscure prog, El Reloj is an essential classic.
