THIS IS BLONDIVISION A German female fronted punk-rock-wave-band. The debut from this Wuppertal-Koeln-Bonn-Ohio band is a masterpiece of a new genre. It's impossible to put this in some category, so don't even try it. Its got a bit of the Runaways in it, a bit of Vice Squad, a bit of Duran Duran, and a shake of the Avengers, and a whole lot of originality. Singer-Guitar player Sarah ("Blondie Ideal") wails and bemoans the society about her in a fashion that Patti Smith would really dig if she only spoke German! Whilst shredding rhythm guitar like any ex classical violinist should. Steven Lipski thuds his bass lines out like some sort of crazy savant, while the hardcore beat of the Simonator pulsates like a Swiss clock! Lead guitar player Paul dances around the sick symphony with his twisted riffs like a cat getting skinned alive. All of this combined makes for a listening adventure that will not be soon forgotten. One hell of a debut album!!!
