"Passage" and "Ceremony Of Opposites" are two groundbreaking albums by the Swiss black metallers of SAMAEL, which were hardly available recently. Of course, this state of affairs had to be changed urgently in order to make these milestones accessible to a broad mass again. Both albums, as different as they are, were light years ahead of their time back then and show the innovative band at its best. Captivating songs in a modern and unique sound bed (for that time). Two cult albums that belong in every well stocked CD collection and on which one timeless classic follows the next.
