2 - ABORTED AT LINE 6 - MAMMUT - (12")
MECANICA

Aborted At Line 6 was a project that emerged from the inside of a Swiss company which sold electronic equipment and batteries. Carlos Peron (founder of Yello) sat on the same desk as the later publisher Urs Steiger. The other members Martin Sturzenegger, Moritz Faccin and Andrea Fuerer sat separately through a glass pane in their own office and sold TEAK products. Chris Lunch was the only not employed in this company. He was working on some stuff at the Slatt Studio owned by Carlos Peron. They all had a ritual to drink a bottle of Mumm champagne early in the mornings. Since it was not allowed to drink in the workplace, the glasses were disguised as a coffee mug and used the winged word "Muemmli". It's in this situation that Aborted At Line 6 developed into a "crazy idea". They did some recordings in the studio of Andrea Fuerer and mixed everything in just one go. The equipment used included one 808 Roland Drumcomputer, a Roland Drumatix, a Roland Bassline, one EMS Synthi A1, a Duke guitar and a Roland SH 3A operated and programmed by Carlos Peron and Chris Lunch. All this took place in 1982 and a 12" single was released by Off Course Records (home of Grauzone and Stephan Eicher). This iconic and very hard-to-find single is re-issued included the original tracks. Limited run of 350 copies on pink vinyl with a postcard.

12 - BONANZA BANZAI - EARLY YEARS 89-91 - (LP)
MECANICA

Bonanza Banzai was a popular techno-pop band formed in Budapest in 1988 by Zsolt Hauber (synths, percussion), Akos Kovacs (vocals, guitar) and Gabor Menczel (synths). They were known as the "Hungarian Depeche Mode" and released a total of eight studio albums during six years of existence.Their debut "Induljon a banzaj!" in 1989 was a huge success selling more than 50,000 copies. A second album, "A Jel", was released next year followed by numerous live shows and positive reviews in local press. In 1990 they started flipping overseas preparing a compilation including songs from the first two albums, some specially recorded with English lyrics. As a result, video clips were broadcasted in Japan and played a show in Germany. In the spring of 1991 unleashed their cult album "1984", a recording based on the work of George Orwell, which was also received by a huge success and kept the band active doing concerts in all Hungary. "A Pillanat Emlekmuve" appeared in the fall of 1991 again with a great triumph.Although the band was apparently in the peak of success, problems started to arise among the members. According to Akos electronic music had achieved what it could and it was time to change style, but according to Gabor and Zsolt the world was being conquered by electronic dance music. The band continued working together in a way or another for some more years, released a few more albums and touring until 1994 when everything came to the inevitable split-up. Kovacs continued his solo career and is currently a successful pop-rock star."Early Years 89-91" offers a special selection of songs from the first albums. Ford Proco was formed in 1986 in Tijuana and is considered a pioneering act of advanced electronic music in Mexico. For more than three decades they have been developing a very particular vision of composition called "Autoconst", derived from different styles (minimalism, industrial, noise, etc.) and tools (tapes, synths, samplers, computers).Robert Proco (sampler & synthesizers) and Wito Lavolt (bass, keyboards & drums) have a long career together and with other projects and collectives. Their musical journey has gone through the fields of noise, minimal, cassette culture, avant-garde movements, sci-fi literature and tech-noise. With a strong aesthetic, this duo has moved through the limits of hardcore techno, industrial music, sonic experimentalism, always mutating and embracing new influx to their collage music combining such diverse and disparate influences as Cabaret Voltaire, Coil, Joy Division or Meat Beat Manifesto. Always interested in being a spearhead, they also incorporated elements of trip hop, ambient, noise, break-beat, film music, processing everything by samplers to get their unique sound. They have worked on several collaborations including a groovy participation with Peter Christopherson and John Balance (of the mythical Coil), Servando Carballar (Aviador Dro), Nacho Canut (Fangoria) and others. In the early years Ford Proco released a couple of self-produced cassettes highly influenced by cut-up, noise and post-industrial repetition, receiving good reviews on the local media but also in Spain. In 1993 released their first album "Fragmentos De Ocio En El Hocico Del Cerdo..." (Opcin Snica), which brought together corrosive material from the first era with some approaches to new dance music. This album pushed them to play in several cities, to be included on various compilations and reviewed in numerous fanzines. A second album "Vertigo de Lodo y Miel" was published in 2000 (re-released by Infinite Fog Productions in 2015) followed by "Diagrama Percutor" (2009) and recently "Expansin Naranja" (Mannequin, 2015) including their collaboration with Coil."Fragmentos De Ocio En El Hocico Del Cerdo..." is now re-released on an expanded and deluxe limited edition of 350 copies with double vinyl and gatefold sleeve. All original tracks mixed and remastered from the original tapes together with some unreleased songs, alternative cuts and demos from the same sessions. There is also included a sticker and bonus CD with a selection of tracks from the first demo tapes.

27 - PAILHEAD - TRAIT - (LP)
MECANICA

Pailhead was a collaboration of vocalist Ian MacKaye (Minor Threat, Fugazi), Ministry's Al Jourgensen and Paul Barker, and drummer Eric Spicer (Naked Raygun). In 1986, MacKaye was just a few years away from his genre-defining work in Minor Threat and on the cusp of starting an even more influential band, Fugazi. Al Jourgensen was also undergoing a transition with his band Ministry after the release of "Twitch". He wasnt the guy who would release the game-changing "The Land Of Rape And Honey" a couple of years later, but he was well on his way.Alain met Ian when he was living in London. Both found common ground musically and politically and decided to collaborate on a project that would fuse elements of industrial music with hardcore punk. The result was a bunch of unique and unrepeatable hymns.Pailhead released one first single "I Will Refuse" / "No Bunny" in 1987 and next year the 4-song EP "Trait", both on the legendary Wax Trax! Records.Limited edition of 500 copies on grey vinyl with deluxe sleeve with soft touch lamination and sticker with classic band logo.

28 - ROBOTICO REJEKTO - COMMUNICATION 87-92 - (LP)
MECANICA

Robotiko Rejekto was created in Frankfurt am Main in 1987 by RaHen and Talla 2XLC. Both musicians already worked together in the early 80's on projects like Axodry, Moskwa TV and other incarnations as part of the "Sound of Frankfurt" scene. With the mega success of the first single "Rejekto" (1987) released by Techno Drome International / ZYX Records, RaHen and Talla 2XLC were seamlessly able to live up to the earlier success with Axodry. They used on this track some lyrics in Romanian telling a fictional short story about two Romanian musicians: Dumitru Constantin and Andrei Vasile. This was followed by other two top chart singles: "Umsturz Jetzt!" (1988) and "Confusion" (1989). Shortly after, Talla 2XLC quit to concentrate on other projects, however some also in cooperation with RaHen. For a short period of time, Kurt Ader joined the project and with RaHen produced the album "Cyper Space" (1990) including some new songs together with the previous singles. The misspelling of the album title is attributed to a mistake of the label ZYX Records. "Injection" (1990) and "Hangar 18" (1991) were the chosen singles published to support this album. A couple of other singles, "Density / Pure Control" and "Technology" (1992) came next but unfortunately with not a major success following by a hiatus of the band. After a long pause, Robotiko Rejekto made a comeback in 2012 with Ralf Henrich (aka RaHen) composing new music and touring intensely."Communication 87-92" is a special selection of classic tracks and remixes from those golden years. Limited edition of 500 copies on double vinyl, gatefold sleeve and exclusive sticker.
