Backgammon from Ermelo in The Netherlands gives new life with a twist to classic rock. On their self titled debut album the inspiration can be clearly heard: Neil Young, Tom Petty and Oasis. Backgammon is produced by Martijn Groeneveld (John Coffey, Dotan, Lucky Fonz III), the artwork is from the family archives. On Backgammon everything what makes the band so special falls into place. Previously released singles Gun In the Yard, Oh Yeah! and Through The Back Of My Head can be heard alongside brand new tracks that show great progress in songwriting. Furthermore, Backgammon nowadays consists of five band members and that gives them the opportunity to bring the full sound to live performances as well. With this album Backgammon is on the eve of a big breakthrough.
