After a silence of almost 7 years, dreampop ensemble Mist is back with The Loop of Love, their 4th album. It holds 14 short and splendid songs about heartbreak and recovery. Catchy and timeless pop, with subtle electronic sounds and 1970s arrangements. Musical references: The Kings of Convenience, The Beach Boys, Sufjan Stevens, The Notwist, The Divine Comedy. The Loop of Love was written, recorded and produced in Spain by Dutch singer-songwriter Rick Treffers. Collaborating musicians on the album: Ivar Vermeulen en Jeroen Luttikhuis from Mist, Spanish singers Ana Bejar (Orlando, Usura), Jos Luis Garca (Manta Ray, Elle Belga) and percussionist Antonio Jos Iglesias (Dwomo).
